High Street, Glasgow
High Street is one of the oldest and most historically significant streets in Glasgow. Originally the city’s main street it was the most direct north south artery road and was the centre of commerce and administration for several hundred years until the industrial revolution create huge growth in Glasgow and many important functions moved away from High Street leaving behind the medieval city.
